For over 25 years owner/founder J. Brent Hoerner has believed in building life with a sense of joy! His extensive hands-on experience assures that you will get the best service possible, while being respectful of your budget.  The diversity in his projects shows his strong belief in doing what you love, for no project is too big or too small! Brent’s projects have ranged in size from the tourist attraction, the MCA Dome at Universal City Walk in Hollywood, to the Navy Pier Reconstruction Project in Chicago, Illinois, and down to a simple solar panel installation.

With a Ph.D. in Engineering, from Caltech, ​Brent has also spent a number of years teaching Senior and Graduate level engineering courses at California State University, Northridge.  Over the years, Brent has pioneered many advances in structural analyses and has authored and presented numerous papers in the field of earthquake engineering. Being on the forefront of green design, Brent has been involved in the design of and provided engineering services for solar panels and prototypical structures ranging from amusement park rides, to compressed straw, and sips panels.
